April 4. Today was a travel day. We took a train. And then a bus. Because that's life in Spain. You're always able to buy a ticket. But not always told that the track is under construction. Asi es la vida!
Nevertheless, we made it to Granada and are staying at our only hotel. After we arrived, Ridgely said she didn't want to go anywhere. I said, "that's great. Either do I. But I'm starving!" So we went out for dinner. Haughton ordered a spinach soup and Ridgely ordered a plate of cooked vegetables . :) Okay, so Ridgely didn't love her plate (we switched dinners), but when they are hungry, they eat well.
In the hotel room, we all watched a 26 minute video on Granada. I said I thought we could use a rest day. Ridgely agreed. But after watching the video, they are both insisting we see a long list of things tomorrow. We shall see....
